Kuala Lumpur City Hall works with agencies and stakeholders to promote job creation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability among communities, while also providing access to quality education through early education facilities and social welfare provisions such as care centres for the disabled, senior citizen activity centres (PAWE).

KLCH has limited jurisdiction over the formal education system in Kuala Lumpur as education falls under the purview of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education. Primary and secondary schools are located in the city centre as well as neighbourhoods. KLCH continuously conducts programs and job-matching between youth and the industry players to ensure decent job and entrepreneurship opportunities. KLCH promotes sustainable development learning at schools and communities as planned and discussed in Kuala Lumpur Climate Action Plan 2050.
