The Oceans, Seas and Marine Resources for Sustainable Development

  • Essential global resource
  • Meticulous management
  • Sustainable future

Kuala Lumpur being a landlocked city, far from coastal access and exposure still has the responsibility to reduce marine pollution of all kinds. In particular through discharge of sewage, industrial effect and other waste water and solid waste into rivers that reach coastal waterways and the ocean that contributes directly to achieve a healthy and productive marine resource.

Kuala Lumpur Overview SDG 14
