With the vision to create awareness and promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to the public, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (KLCH) via the Project Implementation and Building Maintenance Department has delivered an initiative of installing SDG Signage onto KLCH's building and assets. The SDG Signage which has 3 standard sizes made of perspec with printed sticker is installed on the wall of the building aimed to inform the SDG involved in the building, with hope that more building users will be well informed on the SDG initiative that has been going on globally, thus taking pro-active actions towards sustainable living culture.
The SDG Signage of Pasar Harian Selayang Kuala Lumpur was installed on 22th of October 2024, which marked the seventeen SDG Signage placed on the KLCH's asset. The signage highlighted 7 SDG goals that has been achieved for the Pasar Harian Selayang Kuala Lumpur. The 7 Goals are SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
