Creating Ripple Effect via SDG Signage for Kuala Lumpur City Halls Assets and Buildings @ Pusat Pembelajaran Komuniti Chow Kit

With the vision to create awareness and promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to the public, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (KLCH) via the Project Implementation and Building Maintenance Department has delivered an initiative of installing SDG Signage onto KLCH's building and assets. The SDG Signage which has 3 standard sizes made of perspec with printed sticker is installed on the wall of the building aimed to inform the SDG involved in the building, with hope that more building users will be well informed on the SDG initiative that has been going on globally, thus taking pro-active actions towards sustainable living culture.

The SDG Signage of Pusat Pembelajaran Komuniti Chow Kit was installed on 30th of August 2023, which marked the thirteenth SDG Signage placed on the KLCH's asset. The signage highlighted 7 SDG goals that has been achieved for the Pusat Pembelajaran Komuniti Chow Kit building. The 7 Goals are SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 : (Gender Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
