The River of Life (ROL) programme by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall is a comprehensive initiative aimed at rejuvenating and transforming the Klang and Gombak Rivers in Kuala Lumpur into vibrant and sustainable waterfront areas. The ROL programme encompasses several projects, including river cleaning and rehabilitation, beautification and landscaping, flood mitigation, and the creation of public spaces and facilities. The programme also involves the engagement and participation of the local community, including residents, businesses, and civil society groups, in the planning and implementation of the project. The ROL programme aims to promote the sustainable use and management of the river resources, improve the quality of the river water, and enhance the overall environmental and socio-economic conditions of the surrounding areas.
