My name is Calvin, and I am the Partnership Manager for volunteering programs at AIESEC in Taylor's University, a fully youth run organisation dedicated to advocating youth development. This is a collaboration proposal with AIESEC in Taylor's University for our upcoming project: Hands of Hope
Hands of Hope is a volunteering program that supports the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 - Good Health and Well-Being, and 10 - Reduced Inequalities. This project intends to improve on the levels of public awareness and knowledge of common and rare genetic diseases, thus fostering a caring and supportive community for those affected and their families. This would be done via various activities led by the team of Malaysian Volunteers, such as hands-on workshops, training sessions, and more.
We believe this to align with your mission to improve genetic counseling and provide better care & support for people seeking genetic advice, diagnosis, or screening for genetic diseases. Hence we would love to have you as our Opportunity Provider (OP).
We believe that our collaboration will significantly contribute to your mission. Here is how we will help:
A four week educational journey catered to your mission and vision. A project fully planned and executed by AIESEC and our Malaysian Volunteers, with your approval and counselOpportunities to support individuals affected by genetic diseases, help volunteers gain useful skills, and increase public awareness for a more caring community. We are confident that this partnership will be beneficial to both your organisation and the communities that will be supported. If there is interest from your end, we would love to arrange a virtual meeting to further discuss the details. I am available for a meeting between August 11th and August 22th at your convenience. Should you have any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me through email at calvin.koh@aiesec.my or WhatsApp at +60 10-225 2683.
We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you and have a great day!
