Royal Floria Putrajaya is an event happening once every two years by Putrajaya Corporation. This event showcase involvement og government agencies and corporate bodies to work together in decorate garden with creativity and beauty. Last Year, it was held in 22nd August 2024 till 1 September 2024, at Presint 2 Putrajaya with the theme of Celebrate Together  and theme flower petunia. It is also afficiate by The Royal Highness Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofia.

Concept

Unitree

Combination of made up words from Unity and Tree (Nature). Malaysia is a multiracial country with variety of ethnic and races that have diverse cultural characters. To prevent polarization, we have to choose a common ground. It can be found in form of festival, games, music and others. In this context, tree (nature) are choose as catalyst to create unity which splash in form of forest and river collapsing the wall that prevent the sense of togetherness and provide pathway to the true meaning of unity.

 

Award

Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur wins 6 awards at Royal Floria Putrajaya 2024 Appreciation and Prize Presentation Ceremony.

4 main awards were won by DBKL including the Floria Garden Award (Government) Award, Floria Garden Starlight Award, Floria Garden Prime Award Overall Award, as well as the visitors' choice award, the Most People's Choice Garden Award, which was presented by Yang Berhormat Dr Zaleha Mustafa, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories). In addition, DBKL also received a cash cheque of RM10,000 as the winner of the main prize for organizing this RFP. In addition, DBKL also won two more Community Garden category awards under the coordination of Local Agenda 21, namely the Community Garden Award: Creative Site and Community Garden: Cheerful Site. Thank you for the involvement of all internal departments, community garden representatives and all those involved for the efforts and cooperation given.
