Residensi Wilayah (formerly RUMAWIP) is a housing project initiative that delivers affordable housing across the Federal Territories of Malaysia to help lower and middle-income groups (primarily youngsters) to be first-time homebuyers.

The Residensi Wilayah programme by Kuala Lumpur City Hall is an initiative aimed at providing affordable and comfortable housing for middle-income residents of Kuala Lumpur. The programme offers a range of high-quality, multi-storey apartments, which are designed to be sustainable, energy-efficient and equipped with modern amenities.

The Residensi Wilayah programme is part of the broader effort to address the housing shortage in Kuala Lumpur and to ensure that all residents have access to safe and affordable housing.

The apartments under the Residensi Wilayah programme are available to Malaysian citizens who meet certain eligibility criteria, including income levels, residency status, and other requirements. The apartments are sold at affordable prices, which are subsidized by the government, making them accessible to middle-income residents who might otherwise struggle to purchase their own homes.

The Residensi Wilayah programme is an important initiative that helps to ensure that all residents of Kuala Lumpur have access to quality, affordable housing. The programme is an excellent example of how the government can work in partnership with the private sector to provide essential services and infrastructure that benefit the wider community.
